Facilities

SPACES TO PRACTICE, GATHER AND REST

There's room to practice in the Panoramic Nave and the Meditation Temple, out on the Panoramic Deck at sunrise, or in the Green Shala, under an oak that's stood there for two hundred years.

Meals are shared in the Food Temple and out on its terrace. Between sessions there's the sauna and massage room, and a swim in the biopool or the canal. Evenings belong to the Sacred Fire Amphitheatre, with stone seating for fifty and views across the valley.
Surroundings

A NATURE SANCTUARY

Monte da Orada sits in the forests of Odemira, just north of the Algarve, with the Atlantic a short drive away. Zambujeira, Odeceixe and Milfontes are all within thirty minutes, and the coast here is still wild, all cliffs and open beaches, with some of the best surf in Portugal.

Closer to home, there are trails all around the land for quiet walks. The Rota Vicentina is there for longer hikes, and you can also surf, paddle, kayak, go horse riding, or take a boat along the Algarve coast to look for dolphins. Ask us and we'll put you in touch with people we know and trust, and help with getting there.
